SANJEEVA VICTOR COREA is the youngest of four siblings, born to Sangabo and Flora Corea.

Sanjeeva received his secondary education at S. Thomas' Preparatory School, Kollupitiya and S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia. He pursued his education in Business Administration and Management, at Slippery Rock University, Pennsylvania in the United States where he read for his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree.

After graduation, he returned to Sri Lanka and commenced his career in management as Assistant Manager, Marketing at Hayleys - MGT Knitting Mills. He was thereafter appointed Country Manager of Freudenburg and Vilene International Ltd, in which position he served for several years. Thereafter, he served Sri Lanka Tourism for a while, before taking up an appointment as Manager (Operations) at Absolute Sri Lanka. In mid-2012, he took up the position of Manager - Inbound, at Delair Travels (Pvt) Ltd. Later, he moved to set up Go Travel Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, the Sri Lankan operation of Australian based travel company, Go Travel International Pty Ltd.

Sanjeeva married Dushani, the daughter of Ranjit Dharmaratne and Lilani (nee Corea). They have a daughter, Saashyya Ariyana, who is a student at CMS Ladies' College, Colombo.
