PRIYANTHA COREA, the younger son of Mayadunne (Snr) and Rita Corea has served the national carrier, Air Lanka as part of the cabin crew, where he was a Senior Flight Attendant. He received his secondary education at St. Anne's College, Kurunegala. In school, he excelled in basketball and athletics. He was part of the all-island champion basketball team of the school in 1983. He has completed a course in hotel management at the Open University of Sri Lanka and a certification course in First Aid. Priyantha's elder sister is Sharmila Perera (Nee Corea) and elder brother is Mayadunne Corea (Jnr).
